Tenun (Woven) Endek Bali Pepatran
Endek fabric is a weave cloth which is made by giving motifs to the horizontal line (yarn in the direction of the fabric width) before weaving. Endek decorative fabric has several meanings. First, as a symbol of the circulation of celestial objects which is very important for Balinese people. Second, the value or magical meaning that is considered a sacred object. Original endek woven fabrics such as gringsing endek, plop and bebali are considered to be a repellent reinforcement. Third, related to power or wealth. Fourth, it describes the environment. Fifth, describe the social structure of people’s lives.
