The name of the Sidakarya Mask Dance comes from two words, namely mask and Sidakarya. The mask comes from the word tup which means to close. Sidakarya is derived from the word sida which means to achieve, and work which means purpose or work. So, Sidakarya itself has the meaning of achieving goals or completing work. Sidakarya’s mask also became a symbol that the works that was held was finished well. Mask Sidekarya was the character of a shabby-looking Brahmin. Sidekarya dance is one of the sacred dances that is performed at traditional ceremonies in Bali.
