One of the Chinese crossbreed masterpieces on the north coast of Java and Solo, is full of messages of acculturation and cultural diversity. Batik Tiga Negeri was present when the difficult period of colonial occupation, the awakening of awareness of nationalism and the economic crisis in the land of Java. This is reflected in the red color of getih pitik (chicken blood), a reflection of Chinese tradition from Lasem, indigo blue typical of Dutch batik from Pekalongan and the color of brown soga which is loaded with Javanese philosophical meaning. Meanwhile in terms of blend motifs between Chinese, Javanese and Dutch cultures, clear on the motifs of phoenix, roses, tulips, peonies, butterflies, and machetes. At the time the Tiga Negeri Batik was only produced by Chinese batik entrepreneurs in the coastal areas of Java (Lasem, Kudus, Pekalongan, Batang, Cirebon) and inland Central Java , Solo.
